    Client-side leadership of complex schemes, from luxury hotels in Mayfair to automated logistics. We set the brief, run the programme and budget, and keep the design and construction teams accountable to them.

    Consultant procurement

    Tender and appointment of architects, interior designers, engineers, surveyors and specialist consultants, with board-ready recommendations on scope, fee and fit.

    Acquisitions & sourcing

    Search, appraisal and due diligence on freehold property and asset-backed businesses, including industrial estates and less conventional assets.

    Asset & estate advice

    Strategic advice to owners on portfolios and individual buildings: repositioning, planning strategy, and when to hold, develop or sell.

    Investment & joint ventures

    We invest alongside partners in special situations, committing our own capital and experience where a real estate backed opportunity needs to be regularised and its value maximised.

Brief, budget and programme, and the right team appointed to deliver them.

Consent

Pre-application, planning and heritage strategy with the local authority.

Stage 4

Deliver

Design, construction and handover, reported honestly to the client throughout.

Refurbishment of a luxury hotel in Mayfair, delivered as development director.

East Midlands Gateway

Skygate, a fully automated distribution centre delivered for The Very Group. It created up to £23m of annual efficiency savings and moved the next-day delivery cut-off from 7pm to midnight.

Founder & Principal

Chamberlain & Robinson is a small, highly motivated team led by Richard Hall, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Richard is a former equity partner of Gould and Company and has been chief executive of many successful investment and development companies, and has subsequently advised major operating businesses at board level on how to make their real estate interests work better for them, delivering a superior return every day.

He is regularly called upon to regularise and maximise real estate backed situations.

His projects range from The Beaumont in Mayfair to East Midlands Gateway, a fully automated distribution centre for The Very Group.
